Complete the 'Trip Stops Page'

Students are responsible for providing content on the Field Trip Stops page for the sections they were assigned:

Oregon Cattlemen's Association - Kyle

The Oregonian Newspaper - Veronica

Oyster Bar / Portland - Tiffany

Discovery Center - Christa and Jamie

- Students need to choose 3 to 5 pictures, write captions (include names of any people in the picture and the name of the photographer), and text descriptions of each stop. Use the Student Draft Files as a resource.

- Each sentence should include a complete thought. Please check spelling and grammar.

- All pictures, captions, and descriptions for each stop should be included in a single Microsoft Word file and emailed to GruenA@ORWW.org with a cc: to ZybachB@ORWW.org

Chance's Letter to the Editor of the Oregonian

Chance will write a letter to the editor of the Oregonian on a topic of his choice. He was interested in the issue of wild horses, so this might be a good topic. Once the letter is written, it should be emailed to Robert Caldwell of The Oregonian with cc's to GruenA@ORWW.org and ZybachB@ORWW.org for inclusion on the website.

 

Veronica's Article for the Burns Times-Herold

Veronica is writing an article on the 2003 Spring Field trip for the Burns Times-Herold. A final version should be sent to GruenA@ORWW.org and LaphamN@ORWW.org for inclusion on the website.

- See the Issues page for a list of issues and student owners.

- Each students should send a brief email to the politicians listed asking for the politician's views regarding the issue assigned to the student.

- Send one copy of the student's email to GruenA@ORWW.org and ZybachB@ORWW.org so it may be posted on the website.

- Forward any responses the students receive to GruenA@ORWW.org and ZybachB@ORWW.org so they may be posted on the website.
