References and background materials used for the Elliott State Educational Forest website are made available as PDF files for students and interested members of the public. The history, management, and possible futures of the Elliott are organized into five thematic categories (including this one): 1) Articles & Reports include research papers, popular magazine articles, and published reports regarding scientific, economic, and political studies about the Elliott and/or about topics specific to its management; 2) Agency Records include state and federal agency reports, meeting notes, public comments, and other governmental records regarding ownership and management of the Elliott; 3) Historical Records includes books, journals, photos, & other historical documentation; and 4) News & Opinions include include timely and informative articles and editorials regarding the Elliott Forest, including newspaper articles, news blogs, website posts, editorials, and public letters.
